Transport for Wales are currently running near-normal service levels. Extra safety measures have been put in place so that you can travel with confidence.

Details of the timetable can be found here.

Face coverings and social distancing:

You must continue, by law, to wear a face covering at all stages of your journey with Transport for Wales unless you are exempt. This includes on all trains and in stations.

Capacity onboard remains reduced as social distancing measures are in place.

What advice and information is available on crowding and quieter times to travel?

The capacity of today's services can be found here. This will help you decide which train to travel on to avoid the busiest times and services.

Check before you travel:
You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.

Please be aware that due to the current restrictions on travel, train schedules may change at short notice. We advise you to check your journey as close to the time of travel as possible. Additionally, some weekend and late night / early morning services may be effected by engineering work.

You can find the latest information and advice from the Welsh Government here.
