TOC(s) affected

LNER are operating a reduced timetable, in line with current passenger demand and government guidelines. LNER generally publish timetables 2 weeks in advance.

When planning your journey, please check the latest government advice as restrictions may be in place. You can find links to the latest information for England and for Scotland.

What advice and information is available on crowding and social distancing?

To help keep you safe when you travel with LNER and to support social distancing, the number of passengers able to travel on each service has been significantly reduced. Therefore, if you are travelling on LNER services you will need to book a reservation before you travel and you must sit in your designated seat.

Where can I find more advice and information?

Advice on how to travel with confidence is also available from LNER.

Check before you travel:

You can check your journey up to and including Friday 25 June by using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.

Please be aware that due to the current restrictions on travel, train schedules may change at short notice. We advise you to check your journey as close to the time of travel as possible.

Some weekend and late night / early morning services may also be affected by engineering work.

You can also check the information for LNER on our Informed Traveller page for the date(s) you plan to travel on.
