National Rail Enquiries is a trade mark of TISL Ltd. NationalRail.co.uk is provided by TISL Ltd on behalf of Britain’s train companies.
Your privacy is important to us. We will not release your personal details to any company for marketing purposes without your consent.
The following details the marketing communications we send to our customers.
Online Account
When you register an account on the National Rail websites, we will send you a verification email to confirm your email address.
If you don’t verify your email address by clicking the link in the email within 30 days of registering, all information you entered when registering will be deleted and your account will be closed. If you decide to register again after 30 days, then you will need to set up a new account.
If you start but don’t complete your registration, your account is not created and personal information is not saved.
Marketing Consent – TISL Ltd
When you set up your account, we will record your marketing consent preferences.
If you have consented to receive special offers, promotions, news and updates from TISL Ltd, we will send you:
- National Rail Enquiries specific offers and updates
- Information and special offers about other National Rail products and services, including Railcards, DaysOutGuide.co.uk and MyInterRail.
We will send you marketing messages while your account is active. Your account is active for up to two years after you last logged in. We use tracking in our emails to measure delivery and open rates.
How to opt-out of receiving marketing messages from TISL Ltd
You can change your marketing consent preferences at any time by logging in to your account and changing the details under ‘Keeping in Touch’.
Alternatively, you can change your marketing consent preference at any time in the following ways:
- When you receive a National Rail branded email from us, you can select the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email; or

If you have consented to receive special offers, promotions, news and updates from train companies, the train companies that run services in your region may send you communications with special offers, promotions and updates on services.
